Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee our school catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week).

You will lead kitchen and service teams to deliver high-quality food and outstanding customer service, monitor KPIs, uphold health and safety standards, and collaborate with managers to maintain a positive brand image across our education sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
