Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week, 43.8 weeks per year). You will manage kitchens and counters, delivering exceptional food experiences and world-class service.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, driving KPIs, and maintaining Compass Group UK&I brand standards. DBS and safeguarding requirements apply where relevant, with a commitment to health and safety across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Demonstrate passion for great-tasting food and service excellence.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all teams.
