Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Defence catering and service operations on a 32-hour-per-week, part-time basis. You will ensure kitchens and counters run smoothly and deliver outstanding food experiences.

You will lead culinary teams, monitor KPIs with your line manager, maintain Health & Safety standards, and represent the Compass brand across sites in Defence settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated, with leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to high standards and supervise catering teams.
• Ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
