Job summary

Compass Group UK & I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Defence catering and service operations on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver exceptional food experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated with a willingness to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK & I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and lead teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.
