Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for Defence operations on a part-time basis (17.5 hours per week) contracted to 50.2 weeks per year. The role focuses on delivering exceptional food and customer service while overseeing kitchens and service counters.

Key responsibilities include supervising culinary and catering teams, monitoring KPIs, maintaining Health & Safety standards, and representing Compass Group UK&I in a Defence context.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 17.5 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Have a minimum of two years of catering experience
• Have experience managing teams in a similar role
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
