Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a part-time Care and Training Practitioner (Field Care Supervisor) in Accrington. You will train and mentor carers from interview to onboarding, guiding the team to maintain quality, compliance and strong customer relationships.

You’ll visit customers, conduct risk assessments, review care plans and support on-call duties, shaping exceptional care and meaningful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and desire to progress
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers to deliver high-quality care
• Assist the branch with compliance, auditing and documentation
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain standards
• Visit customers to review care plans and ensure they are person-centred
• Support on-call duties in line with branch rota
