Job summary

Helping Hands seeks a Care and Training Practitioner (Field Care Supervisor) to coach new carers from interview through onboarding and to uphold quality and compliance across the branch.

You will visit customers, review care plans for safety and person-centred care, lead by example with a calm, supportive leadership style, and handle on-call duties per the rota.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
