Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner (Field Care Supervisor) to coach and support carers from interview through onboarding, helping the branch maintain quality and compliance.

You’ll lead by example with a people-first approach, visit customers to review care plans, assist with audits, and play a pivotal role in growth across a nationwide award-winning care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• Keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• People-first mindset - calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
