No experience is necessary for this role – attitude and passion for providing a high standard of person-centred care are most important. You will be visiting for a minimum of one hour so it’s a real chance to make a difference to people’s lives.

About Caring Together Charity

For over 40 years we have been supporting families who are living with an illness or disability.

Our vision is a world with no unpaid carer in crisis, isolated or struggling alone. Three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our lives and Caring Together Charity is here to provide emotional and practical support and advice to unpaid carers of all ages and their families.

About the role

Are you a compassionate and caring individual who has always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives?

Supporting people in their daily lives is varied, and no two days are the same. You may help someone develop new skills, provide personal and emotional support, assist with managing their home, or support participation in leisure activities and community life. Your contracted hours will be based on your availability.

As part of the Care team, you will deliver flexible, high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, choice, and control. Working with people of all ages and a wide range of needs, you will help individuals achieve their personal goals and positive outcomes while working closely with colleagues and teams that provide information, advice, and support to unpaid carers.

We require all employees to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS check will be renewed every three years.
