Job summary

Anglian Care is seeking experienced Community Support Workers to provide hands-on care in the March PE15 / Chatteris PE16 areas. Roles available full-time and part-time; driving essential to travel between homes. Right to work in the UK required; visa sponsorship not available.

Induction and training completed to qualify for the enhanced rate. Uniform tunic provided; travel allowance paid at 35p per mile (additional 20p per mile via government scheme).

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for adults and promoting independence.
• Ability to perform personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to service users and assist with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals, assist with shopping and light domestic tasks.
• Support clients with GP visits and health appointments; promote independence at home.
• Travel between clients' homes and maintain continuity of care; driving required.

Community Support Worker

Full or Part Time hours available

£14.08 including 10% hourly bonus for permanent staff, after Induction and Training is completed.Bank Staff 5% - this will be explained further during interview.

Anglian Care is an efficient privately run business, with an excellent reputation, that provides a bespoke Home Care service to adult service users in the March PE15 / Chatteris PE16 areas (and surrounding villages.)

We are currently seeking experienced caring individuals who can make a difference.

A Full-Time and Part-Time opportunity is available and level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable, but not essential if the suitable applicant is willing to work towards the qualification.

Duties of the role will include - personal care, meal preparation, shopping, light domestic, GP visits (any task that promotes independence and enables the service user to remain in their own home.)

Being a car owner & driver is essentialas the role will involve travelling from house to house. Travel allowance is paid at 35p per mile (an extra 20p per mile can be claimed from the government scheme – 2026/27 tax year).

A uniform tunic is provided and must be worn with black trousers and filled in flat shoes.

All applicants will be expected to be flexible, work alternate weekends and work one/two evening shifts every week, dependent on hours required.

We have a great team that care passionately for our service users, and we are looking for two like-minded individuals to join us.An opportunity to may also be available to take responsibility for the On-Call phone (paid for in addition) for an experienced applicant).
