Job summary

Nationwide in St Andrews is seeking a part-time Customer Representative to provide friendly, flexible support across in-branch, phone and digital channels. You will welcome customers, handle everyday transactions and guide banking products to help them manage their money with confidence.

The role is 21 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with training and opportunities to grow within a mutual, customer-focused organisation that values fairer finances.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers in person, on the phone and online.
• Comfort with using digital banking tools and services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs and help them manage their money.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
