Job summary

The Celtic Collection at Ty-Newport Hotel in Newport invites applications for a Bartender in our Food and Beverage team. You will join a hospitality-focused environment, serve beverages, maintain standards, and contribute to guest experiences.

Ideal candidate has basic Food Hygiene, at least 1 year F&B experience, beverage-led environment knowledge, and English communication skills; part-time 20 hours per week with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience within a food and beverage service outlet for a minimum of 1 year.
• Knowledge of working within a beverage led environment.
• Ability to converse written and verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for helping to maintain a customer-focused culture which support the values expressed in the Resort Ambition and the Resort’s business goals of profitability and service quality.
• Establishes and maintain effective and positive relationships within the team as well as other departments.
• Complies with the resort’s Health and safety, Hygiene policies as well as all other resort policies and procedures.
• Maintains an understanding and acceptance of the monthly budgets and a motivation to achieving these.
• Maintains an understanding of the controls in place that monitor performance of the Department
