Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a fixed-term Band 6 post at Turriff Community Hospital. Part-time 30 hours per week, fixed term until end of March 2027.

Based at Turriff Community Hospital, you will join a well-established multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for hospital patients and provide Priority Response to prevent admissions where possible.

Qualifications

• Caseload management experience
• Experience in physical rehabilitation in the community
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to supervise Band 4 OT support worker
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide full assessment and treatment programmes for hospital patients
• Deliver Priority Response to prevent hospital admission and support discharge
• Potentially provide community rehabilitation services
• Supervise and allocate work to Band 4 OT support worker
• Contribute to service development within the Area and Health and Social Care Partnership Teams
