Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for a Fixed Term Band 6 Occupational Therapist based at Turriff Community Hospital. The post is part-time (30 hours per week) with a fixed term to end March 2027.

You will provide full assessment and treatment programmes for hospital patients and deliver Priority Response to prevent admission, with potential to support community rehabilitation. Working within a well‑established MDT, you will supervise a Band 4 OT support worker, contribute to service

Qualifications

• Experience in caseload management and physical rehabilitation in the community is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Driving licence and access to a car for business use is desirable.
• KSF-aligned CPD and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full assessment and treatment programmes for hospital patients.
• Deliver Priority Response to prevent hospital admission where possible and support discharge.
• Option to provide community rehabilitation.
