Job summary

Greater Peterborough UTC is seeking a part-time Teacher of Art and Design to inspire pupils from KS3 to KS5. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality art lessons, integrate STEM-linked learning, and engage in pastoral duties.

We welcome applicants with QTS and a degree in the subject, plus a passion for innovative teaching. The role includes a TLR for leadership responsibilities, dependent on experience, at our Peterborough campus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject.
• Experience teaching KS3 to KS5 with evidence of high outcomes.
• Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and pastoral support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Art and Design lessons across KS3–KS5 with high standards.
• Utilise IT to enhance teaching and learning.
• Provide pastoral support and effective form tutoring.
