Academics is hiring a Design & Technology teacher for a Scunthorpe-based role. The position offers flexible/full-time/part-time options and may be temporary or permanent, reflecting the school’s needs.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS/QTLS, teach KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable), and foster an inspiring, inclusive learning environment while actively contributing to the wider school community.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a passion for Design & Technology
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• A commitment to creating an inspiring and inclusive learning environment
• Someone who is organised, innovative, and eager to contribute to the wider school community

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging DT lessons across the DT curriculum such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Food Technology depending on your specialism
• Help students develop design thinking and technical capability, turning ideas into reality
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative department and school culture
