We're delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic new opportunity with a growing small business in Jarrow. This is a brand-new position within the business, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership, improve processes and help shape the role as the company continues to grow.
This position will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with a view to becoming permanent for the right person. We are particularly interested in candidates who are available immediately or have a short notice period and are keen to secure a long-term opportunity.
This is a hands‑on role where no two days will necessarily be the same. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and happy to muck in and get involved across all areas of the business.
You’ll provide essential administrative support across the business, helping to keep everything running smoothly both in the office and for the team working on site.
As this is a new role, there is plenty of scope to develop it as the business grows. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce and streamline processes, improve organisation and become a key part of the day-to-day running of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:

Xero experience would be ideal but is not essential - training can be provided for the right person.
