Job summary

Amey is seeking an on-site Part Time Administrator to join the Ministry of Justice team at HMP Ranby. The standard hours are 15 hours per week, Tue and Thu, 8am – 5pm, with an hourly rate starting at £13.45.

You will handle confidential information, uphold H&S standards, and support service delivery via a case management system. You will also maintain spreadsheets, raise POs, and assist with onboarding and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience/ability to use Microsoft Office and IT tools.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Familiar with data entry and reporting database applications.

Responsibilities

  • Process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards across the contract.
  • Assist with the delivery of services using a case management system.
  • Receive and disseminate information to team members for service delivery.
  • Share information to meet HMPS needs and aid onboarding of new starters.
  • Input to and maintain spreadsheets/databases/systems and produce reports.
  • Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.
  • Support local and carbon reduction programs, working toward zero carbon.
  • Take direction from Site Manager and wider team members.
  • Handle other reasonable requests from line manager.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-sitePart Time Administrator to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) team in HMP Ranby.


The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday 8am – 5pm.


The hourly rate starts at £13.45.

By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.


The Part Time Administrator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.


What you will do:


  • Process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
  • Assist with the delivery of services to the client using a case management system.
  • Receive and disseminates information to other team members to ensure service delivery.
  • Share information to ensure HMPS needs are met. Work with HMPS on site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters.
  • Input to and maintain spreadsheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports.
  • Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.
  • Support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
  • Take direction from Site Manager and wider team members.
  • Handle all other reasonable requests as determined by your line manager.

What you will bring:


  • Experience/use of Microsoft packages/IT literate.
  • Excellent ability to manage timekeeping and prioritise workload.
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Familiar with/exposure to management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications.
