Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Coalville

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Part time

Monday to Friday 10:00 – 14:00 or 10:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an enthusiastic and positive Accounts Assistant to support the finance department. It is working for a very successful company and working in a fast-paced office environment. You will support the Financial Controller and perform tasks that are critical to the business. This will suit somebody who already has some accountancy experience and enjoys purchase ledger, credit control and using Excel.

Role profile:

  • Sales Ledger duties and running sales invoices
  • Posting cash received
  • Purchase Ledger duties
  • Analysing data of purchase costs
  • Credit control tasks
  • Registering and posting authorised invoices on the internal system
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Chasing invoices
  • Preparing weekly supplier payment run
  • Administrative duties to support the department

Person profile:

  • Extremely accurate and used to inputting large amounts of data
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Can do attitude
  • Good MS Office skills especially using Excel, this must be at a good level
  • Some bookkeeping and accounts experience is required
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude
  • Great communication skills
