Job description

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

A large manufacturing company located in North Coventry is seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to join their small accounts team. This role is available immediately and is expected to last approximately 8-9 months.

Role Details:

• Part-time, office-based position
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day, with flexible timing to suit mutual convenience
• On-site location in North Coventry (CV6)

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of month-end journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Fixed assets control
• Assisting with VAT return preparations
• Ad hoc reporting
• General accounts administration duties

Offer Details:

• Temporary role starting May 2025 for approximately 8-9 months
• 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (full 5-day attendance required)
• Flexible working hours
• Hourly rate: £14-15 per hour
• Free on-site parking
