Job summary

Bristol City Football Club is seeking a committed Academy Coach for our u15/16s to join the BCFC Academy as a part-time role (16 hours per week). You will plan and deliver sessions, lead match day duties for your age group, and contribute to welfare and safeguarding, with involvement in talent identification and development planning.

The role requires UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award, plus experience in an academy setting.

Qualifications

UEFA B Licence.
FA Youth Award.
Experience of developing players in an Academy environment.
Understanding of the requirements to play Professional football, at all levels.
Be able to work as part of a team, but also lead on own initiative
Have empathy, be supportive and encouraging to developing others
Have an open / growth mind-set and be an honest, clear communicator

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver coaching sessions that follow the club philosophy and curriculum.
Plan, observe and provide feedback on player performance during match days.
Evaluate players from coaching and matches and record on The Kitman Labs Intelligence Platform.
Ensure players' welfare and safeguarding is protected.
Contribute to talent identification where appropriate.
Undertake administrative tasks including fixture programming, record keeping and database input.
Carry out 6 weekly player reviews.
Carry out player/parent reviews in line with EPPP guidelines.
Maintain multi-disciplinary communication for player well-being and development.
