Job summary

City Football Group is seeking an Education professional for a fixed-term, part-time role at the City Football Academy in Manchester. You will plan, teach and administer education programmes for players across the Professional Development Phase, delivering BTEC Sport and other qualifications while balancing football commitments.

You will collaborate with schools, colleges and internal stakeholders to track progress and provide tailored support.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring young people in an education, academy, sport or post-16 setting.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS, or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
• Knowledge of BTEC Sport and/or other relevant education programmes, with the ability to plan, deliver and assess learning.
• Organisational skills managing reports, records, deadlines and day-to-day administration accurately.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of education delivery for players in the Professional Development Phase.
• Deliver BTEC Sport and other qualifications and track progress with accurate reporting.
• Identify where extra support is needed and collaborate to implement practical plans.
• Work with academy, schools, colleges and families to support each learner.
