Job summary

Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis, across the school. The role is fixed-term from September 2026 to August 2027.

You will join a friendly, inclusive Catholic school with a dedicated staff team, valuing ongoing professional development and collaborative work to achieve the best outcomes for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Hard-working, enthusiastic, flexible and versatile.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis across the school.
• Support other pupils within the setting as needed.
• Work collaboratively with staff to achieve positive outcomes for pupils.
