Job summary

Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis, across the school. The role is fixed-term from September 2026 to August 2027.

You will join a friendly, inclusive Catholic school with a dedicated staff team, valuing ongoing professional development and collaborative work to achieve the best outcomes for every pupil.

What is the job role? The Governors of Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School are looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive school. Based throughout the school, you will be working with pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis, as well as supporting other pupils within the setting. We are a welcoming one-form-entry Catholic school with a happy and motivated staff, working towards the best outcomes for our children, on a fixed-term contract from September 2026.
