Job summary

APCOA Parking UK is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to patrol streets and car parks in Stamford, ensuring compliance with parking regulations and safe access for all road users. The role requires a full clean UK driving licence and involves 45-hour weeks in a permanent position.

You will record penalties, inspect meters, and report faults, while delivering excellent customer service and clear guidance to motorists. Training and uniform are provided.

The Role

Parking Enforcement Officer

Salary:£29,741.40 per annum

Hours:45 hours per week | Permanent

Location:Stamford

Driving License Required

Civil Enforcement Officers are an important part of the local community. You will be responsible for ensuring that all drivers follow parking regulations on public streets and in car parks. You will be making sure emergency vehicle access is not blocked and the road is safe for all members of the public!

What will you do?:

• Patrol public streets and local council car parks to ensure that car parking regulations are being followed.
• Record and issue Penalty Charge Notices.
• You will check parking meters and car park equipment and report damage or faults.
• Report defective signs and road markings, identifying and reporting abandoned vehicles.
• You will explain regulations to motorists and advise them about parking facilities.
• Check tickets and attend to minor machine faults.
• Ensure car parks and their facilities are clean, tidy and satisfactory
