Job summary

Warwick District Council is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer to patrol off-street car parks, issue Penalty Charge Notices, and ensure compliance on a 7-day rota. This part-time role offers a pro rata salary of £27,709–£29,542 per year plus 1% shift allowance.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable working outdoors. A DBS check is required; you will liaise with CCTV, the Police and other Council teams, with travel between three district locations as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) to vehicles contravening parking regulations.
• Record evidence and observations for monitoring parking.
• Report defects to equipment, signage, or road markings for repairs.
• Support other council departments as needed.
• Work across three locations with occasional travel.
• Be the public-facing ambassador for the Council in a professional manner.
