Job summary

4Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Civil Enforcement Officer to work for a council in Northwest London. You will patrol the borough to identify contraventions of on‑street parking, car parks and CPZs, possibly on foot, by moped or in a vehicle, and may use camera systems.

Responsibilities include recording and issuing PCNs, ensuring signs and lines are accurate, reporting defects, and attending hearings as required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 City and Guilds/WAMITAB in Parking Enforcement and Conflict Management.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Borough to identify contraventions of on-street parking, car parks and CPZs, solo or in a team, on foot, by moped or vehicle.
• Monitor CCTV for contraventions or process contraventions captured by camera systems.
• Record and issue PCNs using mobile devices or manual reporting systems; ensure equipment is tested.
• Verify lining and signing accuracy and report defects to signs and lines.
• Prepare clear written reports for enquiries and attend Adjudication Hearings or tribunals as required.
• Report defects to highways and suspected abandoned vehicles via mobile or manual systems.
• Deal politely with public enquiries and act as first point of contact for straightforward issues.
