Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an inspiring Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional park operations, guest experiences, and commercial performance. The role is a key leadership position with a clear pathway to a future General Manager.

You will represent the GM, lead multi-department teams, and drive a positive culture while focusing on performance, development, and succession planning. Expect to work closely with People Team on recruitment and training.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing large teams across a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, engaging leadership style with accountability.
• Strong commercial awareness and contribution to financial performance.
• Organised, able to prioritise and plan effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence and availability to work weekends/evenings/bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support and represent the General Manager across park management.
• Deputise during absence and build trusted relationships with Heads of Department.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to ensure high-quality operations.
• Coach and develop Heads of Department to enhance leadership capability.
• Support recruitment, induction and training with People Team.
• Contribute to financial performance including sales, margins, budgets and payroll.
