Parkdean Resorts seeks an inspiring Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional park operations, guest experiences and commercial performance. This leadership role is visible, proactive, and central to the smooth running of the park.

Aspiring candidates will develop into a future General Manager through a tailored development plan and hands-on ownership of departmental performance. Weekend and holiday work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing large teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership with positive, accountable style.
• Confident with IT systems and learning new tools.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and people management.

Responsibilities

• Support and represent the General Manager across park management.
• Deputise during periods of absence.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to ensure smooth operations.
• Champion improvements to guest and owner satisfaction.
• Review performance data and support GM action plans.
• Lead by example and foster an inclusive culture.
• Coach Heads of Department to build leadership capability.
• Support recruitment, induction and training with the People Team.
• Embed accountability, succession planning and strong team engagement.
• Support delivery of financial performance including sales, margins, budgets and payroll.
• Monitor spending, identify risks and escalate concerns.
• Contribute to commercial initiatives that increase sales and profitability.
