Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Perth is seeking a reliable delivery team member to unload and load parcels, sort them for the correct delivery routes, and prepare trailers for drivers. You will provide a friendly and dependable service to customers while working in a team setting.

The role offers progression with overtime opportunities, a starting rate with increases after probation, and a strong benefits package through Royal Mail Group.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday to Saturday 04:00 - 10:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Perth LD, Inveralmond Ind Est Perth PH1 3UG

Why this role pays off

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• o Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
