Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, Leicester depot, is hiring staff to unload and load parcels, sort them for delivery routes, and prepare trailers for drivers.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after six months, with the potential to earn up to £30,000 including overtime. Night duty allowance applies. Benefits include a company pension, generous annual leave, medical cover, uniform and training, and access to My Bundle+ offers.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Unloading / Loading parcels.
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport.
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail.

Hours: 38 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday-Friday 10PM- 6AM

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
