Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Milton Keynes is recruiting for a Warehouse Sorter. You will unload and load parcels, sort them to the correct routes, and prepare trailers for drivers. A friendly, dependable service is essential for both personal gifts and business deliveries.

The role offers a permanent contract with 38 hours, Monday to Friday, including paid overtime. Starting salary £25,201 with opportunities to progress to £30,000 and allowances such as night shift pay.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer for the drivers / onward transport.

• - After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• - Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)

• - Additional Allowances:-o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)o Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
