Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Cambridge is hiring for a permanent Parcel Loader role. You will unload and load parcels, sort them for routes, and prepare trailers for drivers while keeping a friendly, dependable service for customers.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year with overtime and a path to up to £30,000 per year, plus benefits and a pension. Typical hours are 38 per week with attendance Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.

Hours: 38 with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 23:24 - 07:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cambridge, Coral Park Industrial Estate, Cambridge, CB1 3EZ

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
