Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring for a permanent role in Plymouth. You will sort parcels, plan routes, and deliver with a focus on reliability and excellent service. The role includes weekend hours with overtime potential and a structured benefits package.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year, with progression to £27,561 after six months and a realistic ceiling of £30,000 per year with overtime. You will join a team delivering pride and great service across the UK.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Saturday 07:30 - 15:30 (8 hours)

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:-
o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
