Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, based in Plymouth, is seeking a Delivery Driver on a permanent contract. This 38-hour week includes overtime with typical shifts Tue–Fri 08:00–17:36 and Sat 07:00–15:00.

Start salary £25,201 per year, rising after 6 months to £27,561, with potential to reach up to £30,000 per year. Applicants need a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t), ability to lift up to 30kg, and a customer-focused, independent team player mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, customer-focused and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and plan delivery routes.
• Carry out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels to homes and businesses.
• Provide a friendly, dependable service to customers.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
