Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Inverness is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. You’ll sort parcels, plan routes, and ensure timely deliveries to homes and businesses with a friendly, dependable service.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after six months with overtime and weekend premiums, and an overall potential to earn up to £30,000 per year.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes.
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses.
• Providing a friendly, dependable service—whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 & Saturday 06:00 - 14:00.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
