Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Carlisle is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. You will sort parcels, plan routes, carry out vehicle safety checks, and deliver parcels to homes and businesses with a friendly, reliable service.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) and the ability to lift heavy parcels. Overtime on Saturdays is available and you’ll be part of a supportive, safety-minded workforce.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. Start and finish time may vary depending on duty covered.

Why this role pays off

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
