Job summary

Royal Mail are looking for Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters in the local area. You will deliver on a route by driving and/or walking, while keeping high customer service standards.

The role involves a 5-day week (Mon–Sat) with shift times around 14:00–21:00, basic pay £13.69 per hour. A DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with up to six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Resilience and flexibility in completing duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently on a route.
• Drive and/or walk a dedicated route while maintaining customer service.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as required.

We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service. You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary) Shift time is 14:00 - 21:00 Basic pay rate - £13.69ph Temporary As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following: Full UK
  driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions) Excellent customer service skills. Upbeat and self-motivated. Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
