Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting Delivery Drivers to deliver parcels and letters on a devoted community route. You will help maintain a world-class service while upholding high integrity and delivering friendly customer service.

The role runs a minimum of five days per week (Mon–Sat) with 15:00–21:00 shifts. Basic pay is £16.24 per hour. A DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to conditions).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Be upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.
• DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently on a dedicated route (driving and/or walking).
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as needed.
