Job summary

Recruit Wealth Ltd is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a modern, supportive and growing Financial Planning business. The role focuses on delivering technical support and tailored financial planning solutions in a collaborative environment.

You will work with experienced Financial Planners to produce detailed, high-quality suitability reports and conduct technical research across pensions, investments and tax planning. Flexible hours and a one-day-in-office requirement are available.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Paraplanning experience within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management business.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax planning.
• Excellent suitability report writing skills.
• Experience using cashflow modelling software and financial planning technology.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to continue developing technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed and personalised suitability reports.
• Carry out technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Build and maintain accurate cashflow models.
• Prepare recommendations to support holistic financial planning.
• Liaise with clients and professional introducers including accountants and solicitors.
• Assist with advice implementation and maintain high compliance standards.
• Support Financial Planners through the advice process from recommendation to implementation.
• Ensure FCA and Consumer Duty principles are upheld.

The Role

Working closely with a team of experienced Financial Planners, you'll provide first-class technical support and help deliver tailored financial planning solutions for a wide range of clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed and personalised suitability reports
• Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
• Building and maintaining accurate cashflow models
• Preparing recommendations that support holistic financial planning
• Liaising with clients and professional introducers including accountants and solicitors
• Assisting with advice implementation and maintaining high compliance standards
• Supporting Financial Planners throughout the advice process from recommendation through to implementation
• Ensuring FCA and Consumer Duty principles remain at the heart of every client outcome

About You

You'll already have experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment and be passionate about delivering exceptional technical work.

You'll ideally have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
• Previous Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Planning or Wealth Management business
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning
• Excellent suitability report writing skills
• Experience using cashflow modelling software and financial planning technology
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to continue developing your technical expertise
