Job summary

Eden Rose is recruiting an experienced Paraplanner to join its technical team in Leeds, supporting Financial Advisers with detailed suitability reports and research. You will produce high-quality analysis across pensions, investments and tax planning, ensure FCA/compliance standards, and contribute to crafting tailored advice for a diverse client base.

The role offers clear progression and exam support in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Paraplanner experience in IFA or Wealth Management.
• Diploma Level 4 or higher.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with financial planning software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
• Conduct technical research on financial products and providers.
• Analyse client information and make recommendations based on client objectives.
• Review existing portfolios and undertake fund and product comparisons.
• Perform cashflow modelling where appropriate.
• Liaise with advisers, providers and administration teams to ensure a smooth advice process.
• Ensure all recommendations comply with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
• Maintain accurate client records using the firm's back-office CRM.
• Support advisers with pre and post-meeting preparation.
• Keep up to date with industry, legislative and regulatory changes.

An established and highly regarded Independent Financial Planning firm in Leeds is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Chartered Financial Planner, providing high-quality technical support and helping to deliver outstanding financial planning advice to a loyal and diverse client base.

As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by producing high-quality suitability reports, carrying out technical research, and ensuring advice is compliant and tailored to clients' objectives.

Key Responsibilities

We\'re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Experience writing high-quality suitability reports.
• Diploma Level 4 qualified (or working towards completion).
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience using systems such as Intelligent Office (IO), Xplan, Wealthcraft or similar CRM/back-office software.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
