Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a Functional Assessor (Registered Paramedic) to work remotely as a PIP Functional/Disability Assessor. The role focuses on clinical judgement, evidence review and written justification rather than hands-on care.

Essentially, you will conduct telephone assessments, analyse medical evidence, and produce detailed reports. A permanent post with a starting salary of £37,500 and OTE up to £44,275 is offered, with remote working and supportive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Essential: Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
