Job summary

Medacs Healthcare in the United Kingdom is recruiting a qualified physiotherapist to join their remote PIP Functional Assessor team. You will assess how health conditions affect daily activities and produce detailed written reports, with emphasis on clinical reasoning rather than hands-on treatment.

The position offers a starting salary of £37,500 with OTE up to £44,275, plus structured pay progression. Remote working is included, with no evenings or weekends, and right to work in the UK is

If you're an NMC-registered Nurse or HCPC-registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist considering a move away from hands-on clinical care, this role offers a structured alternative where your clinical judgement remains central.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person’s health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Desirable

• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high-quality written clinical reports
