Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor with a clinical background. The role involves evaluating how health conditions affect daily activities, with emphasis on assessment, evidence review and written justification rather than hands-on treatment.

It offers hybrid work combining home-based tasks with attendance at an assessment centre. The position suits professionals with UK post-registration clinical experience and current registration, who can produce detailed written reports

Qualifications

• UK post-registration clinical experience of at least 12 months.
• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) or HCPC-registered, or Paramedic/Physiotherapist/OT.
• Current professional registration with no restrictions.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with digital systems and report-based workflows.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments via telephone or in person when required.
• Review medical records and supporting evidence to inform decisions.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.
