Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Panel Beater/Panel Technician for a full-time permanent role in Daventry. The role focuses on accurate panel repairs, replacements and welding to high standards, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

You will work Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 in a modern bodyshop, with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Ideally IMI and/or ATA qualified as a Panel Technician
• Strong experience in automotive bodyshop or accident repair
• Excellent knowledge of panel repair, welding, and modern techniques
• Understanding of Thatcham, manufacturer standards and BS 10125
• Commitment to delivering high quality service
• Ability to handle fast-paced environment and priorities
• Team player with positive professional attitude
• Dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out panel repair and replacement operations per standards
• Complete repairs per Thatcham, insurer, manufacturer and BS 10125
• Carry out structural and non-structural repairs including welding
• Prepare repaired areas with body filler and finishing
• Identify additional damage and communicate findings promptly
• Protect vehicles from damage during repair process
• Store removed and reusable parts correctly
• Maintain housekeeping and health & safety compliance
