Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Panel Beater / MET Technician for a manufacturer-approved bodyshop in Royal Wootton Bassett. The role offers a 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a negotiable starting salary and uncapped earnings around £52,000, plus opportunities for training and career development.

You will work as part of an experienced team, carrying out body repairs to manufacturer standards while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician or similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 (desirable) or equivalent qualifications.
• ATA accreditation or experience (advantageous but not essential).

Responsabilidades

• Report to Bodyshop Manager as part of a friendly, experienced team.
• Carry out high-quality body repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Remove and refit panels, doors and trims as required.
• Repair or replace damaged panels to manufacturer standards.
• Complete repairs within agreed timescales and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment.

We are recruiting for a Panel Beater / MET Technician to join our manufacturer-approved, family-run bodyshop in Royal Wootton Bassett. With over 53 years of experience, we offer a stable working environment, excellent earning potential and long-term career opportunities.

• Negotiable starting salary plus bonus, providing £52,000 uncapped annual earnings, with some team members earning more.

• 42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Duties

• The successful Panel Beater / MET Technician will report to the Bodyshop Manager and work as part of a friendly, experienced team.
• Carry out high-quality body repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Remove and refit panels, doors, trims and associated components.
• Repair or replace damaged panels in line with manufacturer standards.
• Complete all repairs within agreed timescales and to the required quality.
• Work efficiently with colleagues to meet workshop deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician, Vehicle Panel Technician or MET/Strip Fit Technician.
• Formal qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable, although strong practical experience will be considered.
• To succeed as a Panel Beater / MET Technician, you must work to meticulous standards and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• A reliable team player with effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards would be advantageous but is not essential.
