Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Panel Beater with MET skills to join our professional accident repair centre in Hull. You will carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs, including panel replacement, structural work and MET stripping/refitting, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer standards and quality expectations.

We-offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 with an additional bonus of up to 10% and overtime opportunities, plus a 40-hour week in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair centre.
• Strong MET skills, including stripping and refitting vehicle components.
• Experience carrying out structural and cosmetic vehicle body repairs.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques and equipment.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out panel repairs on a variety of vehicles, from minor damage to major accident repairs.
• Removing, repairing and replacing damaged body panels.
• Undertaking MET work, including stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Carrying out welding, bonding and structural repairs where required.
• Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Working closely with Paint Technicians and other workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Completing repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The Role

As a Panel Beater with MET skills, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs, including panel replacement, structural repairs and mechanical, electrical and trim stripping and refitting.
