Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Southgate, Greater London, is seeking an experienced Panel Beater/Panel Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will carry out structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring workmanship meets high standards and manufacturer methods are followed.

The position offers a basic salary of £40,000-£50,000+ depending on experience, with OTE £55,000+ and the potential to increase earnings through an attractive package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
• Confident carrying out structural and non-structural vehicle body repairs.
• Competent in panel removal, replacement, reshaping and alignment.
• Relevant automotive qualifications such as IMI, ATA, NVQ, SVQ or an equivalent industry-recognised qualification.
• Completion of a recognised automotive apprenticeship will also be considered.
• Good understanding of vehicle construction, repair methods and safe working practices.

Location: Southgate, Greater London

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+ Basic Salary DOE

OTE: £55,000+ (Efficiency & Time Saved Bonus Structures)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (45 hours per week)

THE ROLE

As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards. You will play an important role in the vehicle repair process, using your technical skills and experience to restore damaged vehicles accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:
