Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Panel Beater for a large accident repair centre. The role offers a basic salary up to £54,249 with on-target earnings around £70,000, a 45-hour week Monday to Friday, and overtime on Saturdays at time and a half.

You will replace or repair damaged panels, prioritise workload, order parts, and maintain safety and quality. NVQ Level 3 preferred; ATA accreditation advantageous but not essential.

We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our client’s large accident repair centre in Harrogate. This is an excellent Panel Beater opportunity for experienced technicians to work within a progressive, state-of-the-art bodyshop, offering high pay rates and extensive benefits. The Panel Beater position is integral to delivering high-quality repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the centre’s outstanding reputation.

• Basic salary up to £54,249 per annum as a Panel Beater
• On-target earnings of approximately £70,000 or more
• 45-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings paid as overtime at time and a half

Duties:

• Replacing or repairing damaged vehicle panels to the highest quality standards
• Planning and prioritising workload, including ordering parts to ensure timely repairs
• Ensuring vehicles are repaired and ready within promised timeframes
• Maintaining thorough knowledge of the latest products and techniques
• Upholding exceptional customer service levels to generate loyalty and referrals

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater, with a keen eye for detail and quality awareness
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
• ATA accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
• NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred; complete or extensive experience will also be considered
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering outstanding vehicle repairs
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
