Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater or multi-skilled technician within vehicle repair or accident repair centres.
• Welding experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of body repair tools and techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Relevant qualifications such as ATA, NVQ desirable; support is available to update or obtain certifications.
• Practical experience working on HGVs, vans, and cars.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards in the workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace panels on a variety of vehicles, including HGVs, vans, and cars.
• Carry out welding and light fabrication work as required.
• Perform bodywork repairs, including filling and finishing.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine effective repair strategies.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established vehicle repair centre in Oldham for the position of a Panel Beater.
